A Relative Inspires

You might say James Knight has performing in his blood! He’s not the only member of his family who has performed amazing feats of mind reading and psychic demonstrations. His Uncle Richard Rightmire wrote a book called The Master Mentalist. He also performed at the 1939 World’s Fair doing a mind-reading show in New York.

Performing at a Young Age

Before James turned to mentalism and thought influencing, he started performing when he was very young. He learned how to play the guitar and performed in a band for 15 years. This stage time gave him valuable ‘in the trenches’ experience to work in front of crowds.

A Fascination with Human Behavior

James has long held a fascination with human behavior and how our minds work.

Performing his unique brand of ‘thought influencing’ was not James’ first step into the world of working with the human mind in a stage show setting. Five years before he began performing his mind-reading shows, James learned another skill: hypnosis.

Although stage shows are his main calling, James still occasionally offers hypnotherapy services on a referral basis for people who need help achieving their goals.

Busy at the Magic Castle

James regularly performs at the famed Magic Castle in Hollywood as a headliner several times a year. And he has vast experience at the Castle, too. In 2022, he performed a whopping 300 shows at the Magic Castle. Guests are amazed by his feats and often book him for their private events after seeing James’ work at the Castle.
